How do I find out the insurance CE credit hours I need and my state’s CE rules?

Click on the gold “Insurance Continuing Education Center” in the red box above, click on “Course Catalog” on the left side of the page, select your state and license type.  View your state requirements by selecting the “Insurance CE Requirements” link located under the section “Choose a Course”.

Where can I find the bundled pricing information?

Bundled pricing information will now be located at the top of the “Choose a Course” box in the course catalog.

Are there any fees not included in the course price?

Additional charges that may apply are State Filing Fees where applicable, and book and shipping fees if paper-based courses are selected.  If applicable, you will see these fees added to your total invoice amount, under the “Additional Fees” section of the checkout screen.

What is Self-Study Online Insurance CE?

Self-study CE (Continuing Education) courses are correspondence programs completed online. Since no specific classroom time is required, you must pass a multiple choice exam to assure your state agency that sufficient training time was spent and proficiency was attained.

Who is the Provider for these Online Courses?

Bateman Learning Inc. And MyInsuranceCE (MyCEonline) have partnered with WebCE to make these courses available to you.  WebCE is the provider.

What personal information does WebCE store about me?

For the purposes of creating certificates of completion and reporting your CE credits to your state department of insurance, WebCE must have your full name, address, daytime phone number, and license number. Some states also require the use of your Social Security Number for reporting credits. A credit card will be required to process your order online; however, WebCE DOES NOT store credit card information and the card information is entered on a secure and encrypted page. WebCE has several courses available, how do I know which ones to choose?

To help you choose courses, click on the ‘State Requirements’ link located under the “Choose a Course” box once you are in your state’s Course Catalog.   The ‘State Requirements’ page includes information on your state regulations, such as subject requirements, course repetition, carryover, and more.  Courses approved for special state requirements are specifically noted in red next to each course title (i.e. Ethics, Law, Annuities, LTC, etc.).

Can I repeat a course?

Each state has differing rules regarding course repetition. Information on your state’s ruling can be found on the State Requirements page located within the course catalog.

What is your refund policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, call WebCE’s Customer Service Department at 877-488-9308 or send email to info@webce.com for a product exchange or refund.

Do my courses expire?

You have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete your courses for credit. Courses will expire after that time. Your expiration date will be listed in your online account or within the documentation that accompanies your paper-based material.

Can I exchange the insurance continuing education course I have ordered?

Yes, WebCE will exchange courses at no charge. Course exchange can be done by calling 800-488-9308. Additional fees for state filing, books or shipping may apply.

Do I have to review my online course all at once?

You are able to log in and out of your online course as many times as you need to study the course material or take an open-book exam (if your state allows open book exams). we suggest that you complete monitored exams in one sitting; however, if you lose your Internet connection or if your monitor needs to leave in the middle of your exam, the system will automatically save your exam answers you have recorded, and you can come back to start where you left off.

What is a passing score?

Courses taken for insurance CE credit must be completed with a passing score of 70% or higher.

Are the exams timed?

No. the exams are not timed.

What happens if I do not pass my exam?

If you do not pass an online exam, the system will automatically give you the opportunity to retest online. If you do not pass a paper exam, WebCE will contact you and give you the option to retest online (if available) or by sending you another paper exam by regular mail. All retests will contain a different set of test questions from your original exam.  WebCE offers unlimited retakes, and there is no charge for additional test attempts.

How many questions are on the exam?

Exams contain 25-50 questions. The length of exams will vary by state and credit hours awarded.

How long does it take to get certificates of completion?

In most states, for online courses, certificates of completion immediately available online for printing.
